After three years of dedicated service, my most recent employer decided it was time to part ways. This after arriving home on a Saturday afternoon from a week-long business trip to the happy-time town of Miamisburg, OH. So, back into the roiling waters of the job market I go. Anyone need a moderately talented trainer skilled in needs analysis, scope preparation, curriculum development and course facilitation?

In a move which should infuriate each of us, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday ordered the father of a fallen U.S. Marine to pay more than $16,000 in costs requested by the Westboro Baptist Church for copies of motions, briefs and appendices. Oh, but wait. The costs are a result of his suit against the church because the church picketed his son’s burial with signs that read “God Hates You!”, “You’re Going to Hell!” and “Thank God for Dead Soldiers!” Members of the fundamentalist church based in Topeka, Kansas, appeared outside Snyder's funeral in 2006 in Westminster, Maryland, according to a CNN Justice report published yesterday (http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/03/30/westboro.baptist.snyder/index.html). So, now Obama is on the defensive, in an article published today on breitbart.com “President Barack Obama mocked Republicans' campaign to try to repeal his new health care law, saying Thursday they should "Go for it" and see how well they fare with voters.” I guess he wasn’t paying attention to the approval numbers of the American public. According to a Quinnipiac University poll published Thursday, March 25 49% of Americans disapproves of the Health Care Reform Act. The Rasmussen Report published that Obama’s overall disapproval rating across the country is 51%. Realclearpolitics.com reports an averaged (average of ten leading opinion polls) disapproval rating of just over 50%. Had the President paid more attention to the polls he may have noticed that in all of them nearly half the respondents are opposed to the Act. Does anyone else feel like the inconvenient truth Al Gore made a movie about is that global warming is a hoax? Over the past few months there have been many articles about how even the scientists involved treated it as a joke. So, Al, bubsy, what gives? I'll tell you, there is record cold in Florida, record snowfall across the heartland and decidedly frigid temps in places that are used to frigid temperatures. Global warming has hit the deep freeze.
